My principal specialization is European human rights law and international litigation. I represent citizens before the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in Strasbourg, offering a final and firm line of defense against legislative, administrative or judicial abuses committed by state institutions.
Human rights know no borders, and my professional path reflects that reality. My portfolio comprises more than 310 cases registered with the ECtHR — a figure that places me among the most active practitioners in Romania in this jurisdiction. I have built a strongly cross-border practice, with files in Romania, Portugal, France and the Republic of Moldova.
The cases I handle address the core of the European Convention: the right to a fair trial (Article 6), the protection of property (Article 1 of Protocol No. 1), and the prohibition of inhuman or degrading treatment (Article 3).
I do not treat files merely as isolated cases. My strategy rests on identifying systemic problems in national law: by demonstrating patterns of institutional abuse or negligence before the Court, I secure just satisfaction for my clients and put pressure on authorities to reform the system. Every unjustified refusal by the national courts is, in my view, the starting point for a solid action at the European level.
